Here's what other people are saying about Bombay Bling...
Whoa! This is a shocker -- I usually can't stand fruity scents. I got the Neela Vermeire discovery set expecting to love Mohur, but that didn't happen (Mohur is far too serious and maybe a bit matronly for me). Bombay Bling is so exquisitely blended -- and on me, fairly sheer -- I think I may get a full bottle of this stuff. The mango top note is so juicy and the dry down is exquisite sandalwood. I don't like to kill people with sillage, and this hovers fairly close to the skin for me, which is my preference. I highly recommend trying this one, even if it's not in your preferred genre. I'm squarely in the floriental/oriental/gourmand (but not fruity) category and this is an unexpected surprise. Three cheers for this sparkling, happy juice!

Unlike other “serious” fragrances from my collection- like beloved Maai- which need occasion, intent and attention, in order to pull them off- this fragrance adds instant sparkle, optimism and sophistication, effortlessly. It works for every occasion. It lightens my mood and brightens the day. It is a compliment magnet, to top it all. I didn’t expect this from description, but it completely won me over. Full bottle- absolutely.

I'm not big on fruit, but this perfume is different. It's not overly sweet, it's ripe and green, with a spectacular heart of flowers and a soft sandalwood base. I don't detect much cumin at all, nor strong incense. Beautifully done. Neela Vermeire Creations has a very clear vision and aesthetic, and Bertrand Duchaufour has executed it seamlessly! I love this juice.

Bombay Bling is one of THE Happiest scents I own. The combination of notes make for something that puts a smile on my face all day.

My second time sampling -- something about Bombay Bling makes it hard to forget. I never expected to have so much affection for a fruity floral but the fruit here has a very fresh, bright, natural energy (not candied or syrupy) that persists into the classically suave drydown. Beautifully constructed and as others have said, very lighthearted and happy. It's not as lasting on me as I would like it to be, but it is unique to my typical aesthetic of spicy woods and cologne-type fragrances. Fetching!

Like Pichola, Bombay Bling is the smell of happiness to me, this time with a bit more of a party atmosphere and a come hither vibe. I love the mango, lychee, black current fruit notes, which hit you with an opening blast and never fully receded, even with the spices and sandalwood kick in. It truly is delicious.

Bombay Bling is one of the happiest perfumes I own. Long lasting on my skin.

Oh my. Had such high hopes for this one but my skin is amping up the slight amount of cumin to give me a fruits & b.o accord. The white florals join in and proceed to give me a pounding headache. I am sad but my wallet is relieved.

Ok I can see the direction of this line. The scents develop very similarly to incense powders - strikingly bold with intense vibrant florals. Bombay Bling smells much more feminine to me than as is rated. The tone is mango, floral and intense green incense notes. This is a very attractive fragrance after it dries down a bit. Extraordinarily potent on my skin. I couldn't get it off with soap and water - and I tried.

A really fantastic mango top note. Dries down to a subtle skin scent of creme brulee and sandalwood, nice and warm. Only lasts on me for about an hour, though.

Bertrand Duchaufour has really outdone himself with this line. Until now I've left behind anything with fruity notes, but Bombay Bling is so well done that I'm coming around again. Smooth, sophisticated and enjoyable. I'm having a hard time deciding which of the three in this group I'll go for first. This is the first time that I've felt "proud" to wear a fragrance.
