The Scoop
In Blood Concept O, subtley sweet raspberry and rose hips are balanced with an animalic depth from leather. Humid-earth facets of mushroom and saffron combine with an herbal note from thyme, a touch of menthol from the cyperus esculentus, and notes from cedar and birch — all lending O a mineral-tinged, primeval forest atmosphere. Visceral and intense.

Very interesting fragrance! Different from start to finish. When I first applied it, I thought it had a very metallic twang, very primeval and raw. A little while later it morphed into something that my friend said smelled like raspberries and incense. Fruity and earthy. Now the drydown on me is something soft and alluring, sexy and mysterious, without being cloying or overwhelming. I love love love it and definitely fbw for me!

The review that compares this to Tuscan Leather and Charles Street is dead on. I'd say that it leans slightly more towards the Tuscan Leather side, but it's quite literally a mixture of both. I can see a distinct difference between Tuscan Leather and Charles Street, even though they are very similar. However, if you currently own either of those, I wouldn't see any reason to own this too. Still, this is well done and if I didn't already have the others, I would consider this.

Very nice! Though a bit common. In the same vein as Clive Christian C, Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, and Mark Birley Charles Street. If you've sampled/own any of those, you kinda get the drift of this one. Compare and enjoy!

This is my favorite of the 4 Blood Concepts. I put a bit on the back of my hand this morning and six hours later I can still smell it. Great persistence but shouldn't suffocate anyone in an elevator. Difficult to describe, as with all great perfumes, it smells like itself instead of other things...It brought to mind my friend's old dorm room, but that doesn't help!!! A decaying tree on the floor of the woods, soaked with rain, covered in lichen...moist, woody, sweetish...I love it. I find each of the 4 scents interesting and well-made. I suspect I will use up each of my samples, though O is the bottle I'll buy. I love the concept & the look of the bottles: This is alot of hype to live up to, but I think it does. I'm quite pleased.
