A heartbreakingly beautiful symphony of fresh, green, bitter and floral notes, Aube Pashmina (or Pashmina Dawn) almost overwhelms with its loveliness, recalling in effect if not actual notes the bracing beauty of the classic green perfume, Vent Vert.
With a phyto-perfume extract called Satinwood (a jasmine-orange accord or “vibration”), Aube Pashmina does indeed vibrate between the sweetness of flowers (jasmine, orange, and geranium) and the green of cassis leaves, basil, rosemary and tomato leaves. This oscillation between a bent-stem, peppery crushed freshness and the indolic sweetness of jasmine and orange bewitches until the drydown, which has the austere quality of a vintage green chypre.
