Like the joyous echoes filling the dark woods, the green and fruity notes of Figues et Garçons burst with zest as they come to play underneath the mighty cedars. The coy shyness of verdant petit grain and tart kiwi covered in fig leaf is stripped off with a splash of sweet nectar. The fresh sweetness of figs is so delicious here, resting in a canopy of vibrant leafy bliss. We love how ever so slowly the brightness of a fruity accord gives way to a quieter, sensual, earthy blend of cedar and sandalwood, and we appreciate the mastery with which the musk note is woven into the composition, lending it a darker side. |
