Brazilian designer Alexandre Herchcovitch never compromises his vision, sometimes turning out collections that don’t look like anything else on the fashion map. His unpredictable shapes and surprising mix of textures have earned him the spotlight on the international fashion stage and provided the inspiration for this fragrance – a quirky mix of notes that come together in unusual way, with a swaggering touch of the tropics. Luscious fruits – apple, apricot and cassis – get an invigorating squeeze of citrus, and a dusting of cinnamon, and then lounge in a warm bed of amber, cedar and musk. Urban Tropicalia is warm and enveloping and definitely sweet, but in a way that is suitable for either gender. The wood and amber give the fruit a velvety, booziness, but the apple stays bright and crisp – so fresh that you can taste the skin. A bundle of contradictions, but the delightful end result is playful, sensuous and delicious.
“The Inspiration for this fragrance was driven by the way that Alexandre creates fashion: The creative liberty he uses to design fashion which can be used equally by men or women. This fragrance can be worn at any time, for any occasion, as a form of self expression, to be daring, or simply for the pure pleasure of wearing a fragrance. The Alexandre Herchcovitch scent evokes freedom and sensuality, and similar to his fashion, the perfume is striking, emblematic and transcends categories” - Joachim Correll, Perfumer |
