We admit it. We have a weakness for almond here at Luckyscent – we love its addictive bittersweetness to an unhealthy degree. We are always excited to try a new almond fragrance and we are happy to announce that Sinfonia di Note’s rendition does not disappoint. It is a darkly delicious almond with a hard candy coating and a filigree of white jasmine like a sprinkle of powdered sugar. Luscious vanilla and amber amp up the sweet side of almond, but that thrilling touch of bitterness at the heart glitters like a hidden blade, a talisman of shadowy magic which draws us back again and again. If this were a piece of music, it would be Ravel’s “Bolero”, haunting and hypnotically sensual and impossible to get out of your head. |
