Spigo Eau de Toilette by Odori

Spigo (lavender) will make a zombie-eyed, slack-jawed lavender slave out of you even if every other lavender scent you’ve ever tried has done absolutely nothing for you. Lavender is a much-loved and well-used fragrance in everything from soaps to perfumes to sachets and cosmetics, and lavender perfumes are (and have been) ubiquitous and adored. That being said, some find it hard to go head over heels for a lavender scent, either not caring for the ingredient itself or just a bit tired of smelling it. We literally had to check the Spigo bottle three times to make sure we were trying the right perfume--it's that remarkable and that far away from having anything to do with ‘run of the mill.’ We're convinced it's the tonka beans, vanilla and cedar...the first two are major players in Spigo and give it a sweet richness that is well tempered by wood. By all rights lavender should be the star player in Spigo, but it's actually discreet and tame and, okay, we know this sounds odd, almost minty. It's a perfume you and everyone around you will want to smell all day, every day, and never tire of. Lavender lovers will rejoice in this new twist on a famous note and lavender naysayers will suddenly discover a scent they can't get enough of. |
