When Safi arrived at our doorstep we couldn't wait to see what magic Nyakio Kamoche would formulate for her debut fragrance. We were not disappointed with this fruity-floral parfum whose spring arrival could not be better timed. The effervescence of the lychee and pineapple opens immediately and will make you smile with delight as the black currant nuzzles between them like an impish child fighting to get in the picture. Fruity lusciousness slowly unlooses the delicately shy floral notes of stargazer and freesia, although never entirely, just enough to maintain the balance between fruit and floral. Safi is compelling by its contrasts— intimate and open, yet sultry and fresh, satisfying our love for lychee deftly and thoroughly.
