pc02
Eau de Parfum
by biehl parfumkunstwerke

The Scoop
Cardamom and honey. Do these words not make your mouth water? What if we added to that patchouli, tonka beans and musk? Do they now not spell Cold Weather Scent Extraordinaire to you? They do to us. We are head over heels in love with this crazy beautiful mix of all things wonderful, created for biehl by Patricia Choux. We love the deceptive coldness, the chill spiciness of the top notes, which gives way to the honeyed flowers of pc02’s heart. And oh, how we love the gorgeous, almost-gourmand excess of the base notes, where honey mixes with tonka beans, woods and patchouli in a blend of fantastic warmth and luxuriousness. Sexy and comforting, a perfect scent to fight the winter blues.
pc02 Notes
Bergamot, white lavender, cardamom, spices, peony, freesia, precious woods, patchouli, tonka beans, honey, musk

Kind of like floral-tasting cotton candy. Not nice - eventually turned into something that I didn't hate, but I want something that smells great from start to finish.

Nauseating! Syrupy sweet and over the top...and this coming from a gal who likes sweet. Definitely test first...and spray in a room with lots of ventilation!

nah...not for the faint of heart regarding sweetness...I do not believe in kind of skin chemie it is simply a matter of taste.. this one is way too syrupy sweet for me, but a good try for lovers of this candysweetness in perfumes!

The more I have worn this, the more I have become addicted. This scent is certainly one I will keep on my dressing table

The word 'warm' keeps coming up in my head when I put my nose to this. Reminds of sunny terraces and sun tan cream, and yeasty, fresh pastries too. I like, though it's not my favorite, because all this sunnyness just doesnt suit me.

Lovely! I agree with review below on the powder note. There is just a touch of lavender powder here. Not much (I don't like powdery scents.) But in this, it gives it a dreamy/cozy feeling. Nice cardamom note, too. My mom used to make Swedish cardamom bread. (with a touch of honey melted on top.) This scent is reminiscent of that baking bread--w/o the doughy note. Wearing this, I feel like I'm wrapped up in a cashmere blanket, drinking tea with a piece of that yummy cardamom bread, watching the snow fall outside. FBW!!

Woah ... way too sweet - and kind of musty too. Can something be sweet and musty at the same time? I totally agree with the "Grand Mariner and cough syrup" comment. I love this line, but this particular frag has none of the subtlety I've come to appreciate from it.

very soft creamy comfort... the intial sweetness calmed down it is very light on me... can anyone else comment regarding lasting power on this one???

I got a special doll when I was eight. When I took it out of the package it smelled like this: unique, otherworldly, rare and beautiful. I can see how some people are picking out the creaminess and the floral notes, but on me it is completely integrated, and very much more than the sum of its parts.

I too hate to leave a negative review, but this just doesn't work on me. It's tooo sweet - head-ache inducing sweet, can't-wait-to-wash-it-off-my-arm sweet, stomach-turning sweet. And the powdery-ness just kills any hope for me at all. Sad, because I love the idea of spices and honey and woods as a cold weather frag.

This is delightful! I just added this to a list of samples as I was intrigued to know how a gourmand lavender would smell. I don't even like lavender normally, but the honey and peony appealed and I decided to take the plunge. So glad I did - this is a light, gently floral scent that makes me feel fresh and young. The sweetness makes it soft and approachable where it could have been chilly and a bit austere. I may well succumb to a full bottle. (A shame that the name is so unevocative, but this makes me even gladder I stumbled across it).

I see so many positive comments here that I cringe to be the one with a 2-star review. On me, pc02 smells like Grand Marnier, cough syrup, Grandma's spice cabinet, and sandalwood all mixed up. Obviously a chemistry issue, which disappoints because I am seeking a cold-weather frag... >_<

I do like this but you know it reminds me very, very much of A*MEN. I would much rather smell this on a man than on myself, but it is lovely.

This is pure perfection. I love it. Not overly gourmand, but oh so yummy. I can't stop sniffing myself when I have this one on.

Pc02 is really fantastic, and well done. It's a bit powdery, but in a good way and not too much. It's a spicy, sweet lavender honey powdery scent... like honey pollen from lavender flowers, perhaps, if there is such a thing. :) It is a nice, soothing skin scent that calms me before sleep.

WOW! This is all I was hoping for and MORE! It is just like the description from Lucky Scent ( they are masters at putting fragrance into words) soft creamy and, dreamy.

I bought this unsniffed because of the fab reviews and I am not disappointed. What a great gourmand-like scent. It's beautiful and well blended and not sickeningly sweet like some gourmands. 2 big thumbs-up for pc02.

This is DIVINE-it reminds me of a softer version of my beloved Burnt Sugar by Comme de Garcons that is now discontinued. This is the ultimate comfort scent. It joins the ranks of Lea and Ginestet.

Wow - this is wonderful! It started out as a rich burnt sugar on me and then mellowed into pure honey and spice with a woodsy base. Not sweet at all but warm and beautifully complex. It is really unique.

yes, I agree with Thelma, and kathy is exactly right... I've since re-tested pc02 and the second time detected the powdery aspect of the lavender. Not overwhelming - just another 'rounding out' of this beautifully composed perfume. I would still say pc02 is more warm spiced milk and honey, than a frank 'powder' scent. Yet the lavender/powder gently prevents the fragrance from drifting into a gourmand classification. (Adding one more star...!)

This fragrance is gorgeous with cardamom- and honey-tinged woods that emerge after a initial burst of lavender. I suppose it's a YMMV sort of deal, as I find the lavender to be powdery, although not overly so.

Sarina, is such a eloquent writer so what she said I agree! and this smell like something that Avada had made.

ohmygosh this is a multilayered jewel of divine richness. That rare find, a honey-with-spice fragrance that WHISPERS. It's as subtly soft as a skinscent. Has me loving the lavender note again - this lavender is not powdery, without a hint of its sharpness or metallic edge that overwhelms many perfumes. drat, one more to pile on the wishlist...
