Here's what other people are saying about Lady Vengeance...
Nothing special here. Plenty of similar something-or-other's out there.

Received a sample of this awhile back, and ended up purchasing a FB, but never felt compelled to write a review until today. I put some on today for the first time in almost a year - and was reminded how much I love this fragrance. I'm not usually a big fan of patchouli, and Lady Vengeance definitely packs a good amount of it, but I'm still a fan. The rose in this redeems it, perhaps, and the combination is truly dramatic. Very strong, easily overpowering if you apply too much, but done right, this is a confidence boosting fragrance, at least for me.

At first I did not like it,but the next day I fell in love with this! It is very strong on me and the key is to use very very little. This is a dangerous Rose and very addictive. Great staying power, could smell it on my wrist 2 days and after showers!

I think it would be awesome on a man, not feminine at all. I put it on in the morning and didn't feel right whole day thinking I was smelling like a man. Quality and longevity are great but not for me. 5 stars as a men's fragrance, 2 as a woman's

Believe me when I tell you that my perfume collection is extensive. Believe me when I tell you that this is the ONLY fragrance in my collection that makes people stop and ask me what I'm wearing. Simple, sweet, seductive. There's no way not to love this perfume.

I ordered samples of all the Juliette Has A Gun fragrances out of curiosity about the brand. Lady Vengeance has bowled me over. I've struggled to find a rose fragrance which isn't too chintzy or strong, and this is perfect. It's a complex rose fragrance with great staying power - I only used a couple of drops in the morning and still got a few compliments about the perfume in the evening. Will definitely invest in a full bottle.

This fragrance isn't terrible, but I felt like the patchouli was strangling the rose. There's also a sharp note in there that makes this unwearable. Reminds me of the awful perfumes from the 80's.

I love the name, and I was really hoping to like it....but on me, it smells almost exactly like Pond's cold cream. Ugh.

This is a chocolaty rose. The notes listed say it all: I perceive the chocolate note probably as a side effect of the patch-vanilla combo. This scent bears resemblance with many others featuring the same combination of notes: l'Artisan's, Guerlain Nahema, …. It is not original, I would never wear it again, but I do like it better than its illustrious predecessors (I consider those simply toxic). I can see someone fond of the patch+rose recipe falling in love with lady vengeance, though! It is nicely round, with good sillage and good lasting power (+ nice bottle and great name). Just not me the patch+rose+vanilla thing.

I expected to be underwhelmed by this fragrance and sniffed it out of curiosity. I thought it smelled nice, so I sprayed some on my wrist. Within minutes I was intrigued and 30 minutes later I was completely blown away. This composition is seamlessly blended - you can't pinpoint the rose, patchouli and vanilla - they come together to create a powerhouse scent. I gave my wrist to various people to smell, i.e. my server, another perfume retailer, friends and everyone loved it. It's a seductive, sexy, I am Woman scent. I feel like a goddess wearing it - and there really aren't many scents that have that ability. Honestly, try a sample, you never know what will happen.

I love the name, but I am a little disappointed. Reminds me of these rose-scented room fragrance things my mom used to buy. It really just smells like rose and sandalwood, not a lot of depth, but great if you're looking for a simple rose scent.

I love the names of these perfumes. I also love the scent. Out of all the samples I purchased, this one is my favorite. Soft, floral, very pretty.

I've heard a lot of beef against Lady Vengeance, so I was expecting to be disappointed. I absolutely was NOT!! While I can understand some of the complaints against this (eg - too much patchouli), but I personally loved it and found it to be a really fun, endearing, distinct scent. I've heard many comparisons between this and Bond Number 9's West Side, and they're a "little" similar, but not terribly. Lady Vengeance indeed feels a bit naughty and mischievous, and for me, it's far more entertaining than either Citizen Queen (too powdery) or Miss Charming.
