Cyrano de Bergerac is one of the great characters of French drama. Although he is far from handsome (alas, the famous nose!), Cyrano possesses beauty of intelligence and an indefatigable spirit. He is a consistent and loyal friend who helps the handsome but dull Christian woo the lovely Roxane, even though it is he, Cyrano, who loves her deeply. Cyrano displays generosity, character and grace in the face of adversity. And we, and eventually Roxane, fall in love with him. In the final heartbreaking act, the very last word spoken by Cyrano is panache. This quality, he says is the one thing that death and judgment cannot take from him. It is the quality that makes him unique and has defined his life. It is what we will remember most and what inspires us to go forward.
Panache eau de parfum begins with the top notes of ambrette seed and delicious rum. In the heart is the gallant vetyver, surrounded by jasmine Sambac absolute, ylang ylang orpur, cardamom, and finally a rich forest of oakwood extract. The base is warm and inviting with olibanum Somalia orpur. Captive musks provide elegance with nuances of ambergris. Golden amber and white honey exudes a radiant drydown.
