Inspired by San Francisco and meant to reflect its light and physicality, Eau Illuminee to us is one of the best unisex scents released in the recent years. To me this smells just like Prada's Infusion D'Iris.

This dries down to smell like a lemony version of Gris Clair. Since I already own a bottle of GC, it's hard to justify buying a bottle of this... hard, but not impossible. Life's too short to worry about such things. If I like it, I'm buying it.

i LOVE this fragrance! when i first applied, i thought it smelled nice...feminine and soft. but the longer i wore it, the more amazing it smelled! i couldn't stop sniffing my wrist! :) like someone else posted, i feel like i physically crave this scent.

What makes this citrus scent stand out is it's base notes. The vanilla and tonka bean warm it up and create a great soft citrus scent that mixes well with the bergamot and lavender/herbs. I just cannot justify spending this much for a full bottle.

UPDATE from review below- OK about an hour later this has morphed into a divine soft but clean lavender tempered with tonka and orris. Its BEAUTIFUL. Still unsure if I'd buy a FB, but definitely worth the wait for the drydown. Not a sexy scent at all. Its a totally 'clean' scent to me and Im usually not a fan at all but this is lovely. There's something in here that is reminding me of something, I HAVE NO IDEA what, but it's very comforting, and I can't say Ive ever truly been comforted by a scent before!

Opens with a tart herbal citrus. Lavender peeks its head out within minutes as it softens. Not my cup of tea so far. Definitely a masculine aftershave thing going on here. But not the kind of aftershave I'd want my husband to wear, too soapy clean, no sexiness. I'm waiting for the vanilla/tonka/orris drydown...

Only when I find something exceptional in fragrances do I bother to post. This sample smells so good I am sending it to someone I care deeply for. It does smell masculine to me, though I imagine there are women who could wear it- scent is a very individual thing. Cannot wait to smell it on my beloved. 8 months to go... 8 months to go...

A beautiful perfume. Eau Illumine is a layered and multi-dimensional fragrance, as are all fragrances in the DelRae line. It is clean, streamlined and modern. Being a fan of soliflores and tropical white florals, I wouldn't have expected to be as pleased as I am by this however, it represents a lovely, fresh and modern aesthetic. Unobtrusive and non-offensive it can b e worn from day into evening. Beautiful.

Eau Illuminee is a very unique scent. I Love it and find it very unusual, but in a GOOD way. I do find it a masculine scent and a very original one, at that. Try a sample, as I did, before you order it. This is a good one!

Wow! This is an amazing scent, and it really smells like a male scent - not like a "unisex" scent. While it has notes like a lot of classic colognes for men, it is fresh and modern smelling, so this is where it may get a unisex rating? The citrus carries it to herbal then to Orris and Tonka. Ever changing, but never unpleasant! You can wear it to the office, or at night - it is very versatile.

Pee-U, this one was so bad i gagged and I don't find that happening ever! after reading all the positive comments I ordered 2 samples and couldn't believe how bad it smelled on me. I couldn't wash it off with anything I tried and ended up just having to let it wear off.

Wonderful!! Opens light and sparkling with a full and bright citrus, but with a warmth that stops the herbaceous part from being overwhelmingly green. Dries down to a lovely warm scent, with citrusy backgroud. My husband actually commented that he liked this scent on me!!

Wow, is this nice. Simple and elegant. Starts out wiht a nice even citrus scent, the nquickly morphs into a warm ambery citrus with lots of fresh herbs. it is very light and non-offending to others. This does not smell artifical at all.
