An homage to Lutens's favorite tree, Cédre showcases the unique qualities of the precious cedarwood essence, highlighting its sensual, dare we say, carnal qualities. The deep, spicy wood accord, the very soul of a dark forest, is paired here with the creamy and voluptuous aroma of tuberose. The result is a fragrance that is mesmerizing in its unique combination of elegant sharpness and languid softness. The presence of the sweetly-resinous amber, the subtly, tantalizingly animalic musk and the warmly piquant cinnamon strengthens the sensuous effect.
