I like Intense Tiare much better than Aoud Velvet. I think the tiare just didn't work well with the aoud in the latter, but in this one it goes exceptionally well with the coconut milk. The milk gives this scent a, well, milky feel. I can almost taste the texture of this on my tongue, like it was some kind of tropical drink. The vanilla is more pleasant in this fragrance than the tonka bean is in Aoud Velvet. It is floral, but it's not bright and cheerful, it's sensual. Intense Tiare is a velvety smooth, exotic fragrance that may just help me get over my intense dislike of gardenia. I can't stop smelling my wrist!

Disliked the jasmine and looooove the tiare. It reminds me of Bora Bora! I put the sample on my wrist and could smell it well into the next day. I already ordered my bottle. It is sweet, but so yummy!!!

While this scent is a lovely one, it actually reminds me of an expensive version of Vanderbilt (Gloria Vanderbilt).

This fragrance is amazing. It makes me feel like I'm lying in a languid rich bath of coconut milk and gardenia (tiare) flowers. I tried a sample and immediately knew it was bottle-worthy. The gardenia is light and intoxicating, and its gently supported by gentle waves of coconut milk, jasmine, ylang-ylang and a tiny hint of vanilla. It smells very fresh and almost green when you first put it on, and then it just gets richer and more nuanced as it warms on your skin. Excellent longevity

Intense Tiaré conveys a magical and delicious image of a tropical island. The scent is true to the notes listed (but the rose is so faint you might not detect it), and the coconut milk is clearly detectable in the opening and softens progressively. I usually recoil from a sweet vanilla/ coconut scent, and I must admit that both the coconut and vanilla are unmistakingly there. But, susrprisingly, I love Intense tiaré: the vanilla is rich, deep and slightly dark, the white flowers stunningly beautiful and creamy, and the coconut milk is suggesting images of soft golden sand and tropical blue seas. This is the only vanilla scent I own, and it reminds me that the magic a fragrance can operate defies one owns preconstructed ideas. Try it: you might love it or not, but it is worth to wait the few minutes it takes for the coconut to receed and reveal the most conforting, luscious and hypnotic smell. MAGIC, DEEP, EXOTIC.

"A little slice of paradise" says it all! Yum, this scent is deliciously edible, reminds me of a coconut meringue cake my Mum used to make. Warm, tropical flowers, coconut & jam, i want to eat this! Long lasting, sexy summer evening scent, lovely & definitely FBW.

My oh my! I'd been so excited to try Intense Tiare, being a lover of the smell of anything with the tiare flower. Let me precedent this by saying I am a lover of both Monyette Paris and Kai - both of which Intense Tiare have been compared to; but when I put Intesne Tiare on, I felt I was being suffocated by overly sweet white flowers (and I do love white florals). Sillage and lasting power were astonishing, as others have noted, but I simply couldn't handle the sweetness - it's very overwhelming in this fragrance.

This is a lovely sweet, slightly powdery tropical white floral - a happy, sun-drenched scent, similar to - but not as buttery as - Monyette Paris. Like the previous reviewer, I'm still working my way through more tropical white floral samples before I decide which is full-bottle-worthy, but this is definitely on the shortlist.

"If you like Monyette Paris, you'll love this!" Not so fast ...although this is an amazing scent and very much like MP...there still is nothing that compares to the mystery of MP. Intense Tiare goes on Gardenia and stays Gardenia. I'd more likely compare it to Kai, only stronger, much, much stronger. So glad for samples

Oh my this is gorgeous. I own Monyette Paris, and I love the scent of tiare gardenia, but Monyette is creamy, heady, and rich. Montale's version of this blossom is crystalline, and goes in another direction. The sweetness of coconut and vanilla is truly in the background, and the floral summer breeze is what you really notice. Tiare flower, jasmine, and ylang ylang just dance off your skin, very graceful. There is something hauntingly familiar about this scent, something childlike and carefree. A must-have for me, I won't hesitate to own this one.

This is fabulous and I would expect no less from Montale! The coconut note is fairly prominent in the opening but is well blended and seems to enhance the freshness of the florals. I can detect just a hint of lightly sweetened jasmine also. This has amazing lasting power and just a dab will do ya! Don't hesitate to try this if you are a tiare lover!

My favorite tiare fragrance. This one is so powerful you need only a few drops to be gorgeously scented. Rich, sweet, soft, powerfully floral and slightly coconuty without a hint of synthetic notes. They went to "the edge" with this one but before going over and ruining it, they stopped. A beautiful example of passion and restraint in perfumery- I just can’t get enough of Intense Tiare or imagine a more delightful tiare fragrance.
