Louanges opens with an incandescent accord of radiant neroli and dazzling lily, freshened by hawthorn. This floral mix infuses the oriental composition with freshness, lifting the smoldering incense, the sweet benzoin, and the piquantly-balsamic “wood of life”. The resulting balance of resinous and floral, of light and dark is nothing short of perfect.
