This is a very sweet fragrance. Almost sugary sweet. It can be worn by a man but it is a very effeminite smell. It may be classified as unisex, but it borders the feminine side more I think. I was hoping for more zest, more of a rugged scent, but it's not at all. I like it, but wouldn't wear it myself. It's nowhere near masculine enough for me.

Geir is a wonderful scent! It doesn't remind me of any prep polo wearing youngster back in high school by any means. I love the way it smells on my husband. To me it is a romantic smell soft and warm in a manly way. I'm not one for the really strong fragrances! It's a huge turn off when someone has too much on. I don't believe you could put too much Geir on. Just an FYI people comment on my husbands cologne all the time about how nice it smells. So I guess you could say I love it and so does he.

It's an okay scent at most...a little on the safe side..I wore it for a while until it reminded me of all those preppy polo wearing kids at my school. Its a good scent if you're the boring nice guy type...thought the scent has no character or personality, and seems kinda generic.

Geir is divine as is the man who invented it. Imagine a man who invented Laila for his Mother. What does that say about his love for women and his expression of what a man should be? It is invoked in all his scents. Bravo Geir!!

This smells nice and brisk, a little green, a little woodsy. I bought this for my husband, but I wear it also. Though I wouldn't call it unisex, it somehow smells completely different on the both of us.

Saw this charming man with lots of light blond hair at an upscale department store (Nordstrom) introducing his new fragrance "Laila", a light-floral scent, that he named, in honor, after his mother. "Geir" is a clean, pine mountain-air scent. Though, this fresh scent is meant for a man - a woman would enjoy wearing it, also.
