Musc Bleu is an extraordinarily beautiful, soft, clean musk with a gentle hint of flowers. A simple idea executed extremely well. Sure, you can find floral musks all over the mall, but you would have to search a long, long time before finding one as perfect as this one. Possibly a lifetime. It opens with a light, crystalline freshnessEand it stays there, which is why it is so wondrous. It retains its delightfully clean airiness for hours without any hint of the musk turning animalic or overpowering. Pure and lovely. Sheer perfection.

I have been looking for a "clean" fragrance to replace my clean warm cotton for a while. This comes pretty close because its not as metallic and I really do like the sillage of warm cotton while musc bleu is very close to the skin. However, with this price tag I am going to have to stick with warm cotton since I can find it for $14 on ebay on good days.

A light, clean musk that dries down into something that reminds me of laundry detergent/dryer sheets. It's not horrible, I would wear it if someone gave me a bottle, but it doesn't strike me as unique or special enough to be worth the price.

This is sweet springtime in a bottle! At first I feared I had made a mistake because the top note is decidedly more floral than I usually prefer. But on the dry down the white musk emerges to create a light and balanced scent that is perfect for spring time. While some have complained that it fades quickly, I adore the way it transforms over time into a faintly sweet skin scent that only a lover can get close enough to appreciate. I wear it to bed and can still detect the faintest traces of Musc Bleu in the morning. Definitely worth my FB investment! Highly recommended.

I agree with a previous poster in its similarity to Khiel's original musk. I did get a powdery blast in the beginning and it evolved into that familiar scent.

lol! I can't believe the hype about this fragrance. Just go to that tiny weird looking corner shop in your market. Pick up the musk and sniff it. That's right! Musc Bleu for you except a thousand times cheaper and universally local!

So soft and clean smelling. Very comforting and uplifting. It's the dead of winter here in Minnesota right now and putting this on makes me feel like I'm wearing a little bit of spring. Not cloying or overly sweet. It smells like hugging someone who just stepped out of the shower.

I was very excited upon reading the description of this perfume that I ordered two samples. It is beautiful. Fresh out of the shower, I have a stronger cocoa butter lotion on but I cannot stop smelling my wrists. The smell is intoxicating. It's a great scent for the office or for a casual outing. I can't tell you how long this will last yet, but so far so good!

I recieved my samples, was very excited. when i applied this after showering. it was like sprintzing water i could'nt smell it. it was like nothing. I'm very dissapointed. sorry. i have togive this one star.

This was my first full bottle purchase at LuckyScent. After sampling at least 10 differently highly-recommended white musk type niche scents from several different places, this was the clear winner. It is an elegant and gorgeous scent, and unlike any other white musk scent I've tried. To me, it is the feminine version of SL Clair de Musc, which I find wears a bit too masculine on me. Musc Bleu is a masterfully blended soapy, slightly sweet, elegant white floral musk. It is a scent that feels like wearing a cashmere sweater while lazing on a chaise lounge reading your favorite book. It stays close to the skin yet wears for about 6 - 8 hours. A white musk masterpiece.

Absolutely beautiful musk fragrance. I never post a review, but loved this one so much I felt it necessary. An "inspirational" fragrance. Changes your mood. Makes you feel better, makes you want to be better. For me, gave me everything and more that I was looking for in a great fragrance, and worth every penny of it.

On my skin the Musc Bleu is fabulously clean and sweet--not candy sweet but ever so softly floral. Not Lifeboy soap clean, but...fresh, lovely and clean. It never turns on me. Hands down the best musc I've tried. I have spent years looking for a 'clean' fragrance and this is the one. There is nothing childish or cheap about this musc. I get the dreaded soapy note only when I've been sampling other scents and my chemistry is off. The Absolute, for me anyway, lacks the delicate sweetness of Musc Bleu. More is definitely not better in this particular case. I'm waiting for delivery of my Musc Bleu and I'll be very happy to reapply it when necessary. Sweet heaven in a bottle.

On me Musc Bleu smells very similar to Kiehl's Original Musk...it's nice but for the price I'll stick wth Kiehls. There's many, many more fragrances to discover!

Incidentally, I bought the absolute, and I have found it to be very nice. In fact, it seems to me to be a tiny bit less soapy than the perfume -- just a bit smoother. It is a little heavier smelling at first, but I think that is to be expected of an oil-based scent. It quickly mellows out though. Also, it lasts FOREVER since I only need to use about 4-6 drops!

Like so many young women in their 20s, I used to wear The Body Shop's White Musk. At some point, though, it changed on me -- turned "animalic" -- and I thought I had given up on musk scents forever. Then I discovered Musc Bleu, which is a beautiful, fresh-yet-warm white musk. I decided to sample a few other musks before committing to Musc Bleu, and all I can say is that Musc Bleu is the most beautiful of them all. It is clean and airy, yet warm and inviting at the same time -- perfect for a professor who wants to smell fresh and elegant without overpowering her poor students and coworkers!

Absolutely exquisite!! It does have an initial soapy smell to it but, let it dry down - it is beyond gorgeous - one of my all time absolute favvorites. I really think the Italians know how to make the best scent. This is very clean - sandalwoody, musky - I can't help but sniff my wrist all day long. I am absolutely in LOVE with this. Question - I have to spray a lot of it on and was wondering if anyone has tried the absolute and if the scent retains its originality in that. thanks!

I think this is one of those that REALLY depends on your personal body chemistry. On me it smelled kind of like that "Bonne Bell Skin Musk" that tweens wear, which is cool if that's your thing, but it's not mine. Also, I put on a pretty decent amount, and the scent faded almost totally within one hour. I would definitely sample this before you pay for an entire bottle.

Overall nice scent, but nothing special. Wish it lasted longer too. At first it smelled very powdery on me then mellowed into the soapy smell others have mentioned. Very clean and light- maybe a little too light for the price. Just not me.

I ordered Musc Bleu without purchasing a sample first since the reviews were so genuine positive and raving. Now that it has arrived I have to say I do like it - no question about it. BUT: There IS the soapy musc introduction at the beginning (which I don't like). And: The staying power on me is way too short for the price tag. All in all I have to say I do like Musc Bleu but would not purchase it again. If you are a lover of clean musc like I truly am go for Serge Lutens Clair de Musc. It has much more staying power and depth.

As with Diorella and Chanel #19, this has a very soapy undertone on me. It lasts longer than 12 hours, and the Musk does smell delicious. However, I can't get past the soap. I certainly wish it reacted better with my personal chemistry. Next please.

I agree with the comment below... VERY FRUSTRATING! Not enough staying power! This scent dry downs to a soft, feminine, sweet musk but, almost disappears within the first half hour!! It's super super light, but GORGEOUS! They definitely need to make a lotion for layering. I love it though, which means I will be buying it. I just have to make sure to re-spray every hour... =(

I want to love this. It sounds like the perfect musk. I sampled it at Takashimaya, and I've used a few fragrance sample vials. I've tried and tried, but I cannot SMELL Musc Bleu! Trying to get a goof whiff of this liquid is very like trying to detect the scent of air. I can smell it for a couple of seconds on test strips, and on the plastic needles in the vials, but on my skin...nothing. Very frustrating. Those of you who love musk and are able actually to smell this, will adore it. It's ethereal, cool, and smooth to me, during the brief moments I can catch it.

Oh, this is a lovely musk! Soft and so very clean, definiately not a animalic musk. This is a clean skin kind of musk, with a hint of flowers. Not powdery, not "dirty", just clean & soft. Love it!
