The Scoop
Lily of the valley takes a trip to the land of green (and likes it!). An absolutely gorgeous combination of the much-loved lily and freesia flowers, together with the extremely smooth notes of green syringe (lilac leaves) and dog rose buds, Lily is never drowned in grassy or herbaceous green. Instead, the subtle leaf notes merely round out the fragrance, imparting a fresh (and definitely tart) crispness to the languid florals. Stimulating and alive, Lily will make you throw your preconceived notions of what a floral fragrance is out the door. A must-try for both floral and non-floral lovers!

The opening is really gorgeous. A soft, authentic smelling lily of the valley fresh off the plant. It's soothing. I would say that this and Muguet Blanc by Van Cleef & Arpels are so far the most true smelling lily of the valley scents I've found so far. Personally even though I like this, I think I prefer Muguet Blanc cause it's just a bit more interesting and a little stronger as well. I think LOTV is such a gorgeous scent and I keep searching for the perfect perfume to match the real thing. This does pretty well in attempting that. After the top notes fade it isn't as authentic but it's still nice and soft and comforting. The silage is close to the skin. If you love the smell of lily of the valley then try this one.

I really wanted to like this because I have been looking for a "green floral" scent, and I usually like the smell of lily as long as it comes in small amounts. This scent, though, just smells fake to me -- like something from Bath and Body Works.

It's a beautiful lily of the valley scent. Fresh, springlike -for me it's very similar to Diorissimo by Dior.

Really green when it's fresh out of the bottle; goes through a kind of orchestra-of-lilies phase before drying down into a very heavily lily-of-the-valley scent that is charming and modest. I wish it weren't quite so sweet during the dry-down and had a more lemony note to it, but still, I like it.

It's pretty, but it doesn't smell like $68. If the price point was more like $30, it would be worth it. A very accurate lily of the valley scent, smells just like the bells that bloom in the spring at my mother's house. Nostalgic, fresh, natural, springtime scent. If it was cheaper this would definitely be in my collection.

I very pretty, light flower scent - kind of like a flower water from an old-fashioned English scent line. A good Spring scent - sort of like flowers in the rain.

This is what Estee Lauder's Pleasures tried to be and failed. Much more organic and pure. Its great to inhale deeply. One dimensional but it doesn't try to be multifacited. It is a rarity to be able to enjoy a flower in a bottle without all the details. Great for the ladies, not so much for the gentlemen.
