Oh no, no, no. It's smells like crushed centipedes at first. Then the powder sugar-covered band-aids come in. And finally, hours later, it smells like tolerable sweetened bug spray. Goodness no.

The sample i received of this smelled like Listerine, just awful. But, straight out of the bottle at the CDG boutique in NYC it smelled completely different and amazing! I ordered a FB from Luckyscent and thankfully its still amazing. Luckyscent: Crack open a new bottle of this fragrance with which to dispense samples please!

I swear this smelled like band-aids on me...those old school rubbery latex band-aids. That said, when it dried down it wasn't bad. Not one of my favorite CdG scents, though.

I did not like the sample of this at all when I first got it but I have come to love it. In the capsule it smelled bizarre and too clinical. But having worn it a couple of days now I have done a complete 180. It has a warm, woody scent that's very plesant and completely unique.It is a little odd, so I reserve it for special occasions, or going out and it will easily last the whole night. The Mrs. also really likes it.

I loved the idea of this, but it turns out I don't actually want to smell just liked burned wood. I can see the exact craggy texture and muted blackness of the wood when I smell my wrist. Lapsang Souchong explosion.

Straight from the bottle it smells just like ammonia. Yuck! However, on my skin the tea is practically not there and the scent is strong, clear and - wonderfully soapy (think antiseptic or laundry soap). Love it!

The reviewer was dead on who described this scent as "A huge tea house that sells every Black tea known-to man, It has just burned to the ground and little vinyl/PVC body suit clad geisha women are throwing roses on the whole smoldering mess." Though in my case, it was more like a tire store had burned to the ground with mechanics throwing tar and oil on the whole smoldering mess. A mess indeed. Yuck!

Unusual and mysterious. By smell alone I wouldn't have guessed this is tea, its rather unplaceable to me and I keep smelling it to figure it out-but I can't. It does have a quality of something natural and something burnt mixed with a slightly antiseptic yet stangely comforting aspect. As far as romance goes, it is a sophisticated but short lived one as this doesn't last long , at least wit my chemistry. Worth sampling.

Yes, i beg to differ and debate with the first post but there's PLENTY of romance and tragedy to be had in this CdG item. Think of ,, A huge tea house that sells every Black tea known-to man, It has just burned to the ground and little vinyl/PVC body suit clad geisha women are throwing roses on the whole smoldering mess. This CdG (Tea) has a vinyl aspect in the top and back, but smoked black tea and a fairly realistic rose as the main play through. Very long lasting, Almost makes me think of gothic batcave scenesters drinking black tea, rose incense burning, and Siouxsie on the house sound system. tradgedy in a bottle , but in a good way - don't forget the jett black liquid eyeliner 4X heavier than it should be. I dooooooo /love IT . <3

No green tea here - black tea straight up with no sugar, lemon or spice. No romance or tragedy in this fragrance, just bold realism - a serious event. A little too real for me.
