AQABA Spring is an exquisite, fresh experience, in fields of flowers. Top notes evoke a gentle breeze of Mandarin Orange with flower buds of Black Currants and biblical Cinnamon; as middle notes of nightblooming Egyptian Jasmine blend with multitudes of the Queen of Flowers: Roses of Damask, Morroc and Turkish Rose. Flowers of Peach and Apricot flow into a long-lasting dry-down of clove-pink buds and Vanilla-Bourbon.

This goes on with heavy roses, weighted with jasmine and cinnamon. The woody quality is surprising. It later settles into a creamy honeyed floral which is has an soothing effect. At that point the peach and apricot notes emerge. It's like a fruity floral wood fragrance in reverse! It has been raining almost constantly in the three days I have tested it, so my weather may have a effected my experience. Do try this. If the first wave of scent seems 'old-lady' give it a bit of time and let the creamy floral come through... Four-and-a-half stars.

As a lover of pure essential oils and absolutes, & also the "natural perfume blends" that can be made without alcohol, I was shocked when I smelled the sample: pure delightful mandarin-citrus mingled with excellent quality clove and the real treasure in this one, the blackcurrant bud. I sampled this one and was happily stunned at the effect on my skin. Based on the reviews, I'm surprised at the comparisons to Glade and laundry, because I get no hint of 'chemical' or industrial level 'perfume' cheats here. Strangely, I've found my signature scent!! I always thought it would be a blend of natural oils. *g* The peach/apricot and vanilla fruity/floral notes are not at all overwhelmingly gourmand and the luscious, elegant mix of the roses (3 kinds!) is nicely tinged with the Egyptian jasmine. Will be buying this one a.s.a.p.! It melted into my skin, and I find it very balanced in its concoction... Miriam M. was obviously inspired when she created this line, and in particular the Aqaba Spring. Also, the erotic sexiness of the apricot notes, though softened by the florals making it fine to wear this out and about during the day, turns into a sultry dance intimately on the skin. I guess it was made for me. A priceless treasure. I love this one more than Amber Russe, and that is saying something!!

I'm glad I got a sample first. There is nothing "spring" about this scent, at least on me. I agree with the previous poster ~ it DOES smell like Glade Cinnamon Potpourri. Definitely not for me.

This should be called Aquaba Fall! On my skin and to my nose, it smells EXACLY like Glade cinnamon popourri spray, but more expensive. I will give it one star for not smelling offensive, one star for good sillage (I was getting wiffs of it often and I just had it on the back of my hands), and one star for good lasting power (I couldnt wash it off). If I smelled this on someone I would think they smell good, but it's not for me.

I didn't smell any of the notes listed in the description. No Jasmine, no roses, no fruit. On me, this smells a bit...generic. It reminds me a little of a Gucci fragrance I once tried - I smell some sort of dry wood note with a sweet powder base. That's pretty much it. (More power to the person who smelled cinnamon, honey and rose - wish I did.)

I put this on and originally thought "nothing special" then after about 15 minutes I would find myself saying "Weee, is that me that smells so good!" This scent is not omnipresent, it is, just is. It is not intrusive. It is distinctive in the fact that it is the essence of everything by not TRYING to be something or everything. It's lovely.

This one was not for me. It was stronger than I like, and I could not detect any fruit or vanilla- just an overpowering clean scent. This wasn't awful, just not what I was expecting or wanted.
