| I bought this a few months ago and I am loving it. It is truly a green violet scent, but its also a little powdery and a little sweet, which I enjoy.
Be advised that it does not smell like a true violet, as there is a quite a bit of that "green" scent that comes through. After a read a couple of the reviews I saw that someone said that it smelled like cucumbers on a wet wooden cutting board. Strangely, I can kind of see that, but my nose picks out something entirely different. On me, it smells much more like a green, floral, powdery scent. I really love it.
I will say that the scent does not last very long throughout the day. I wish there were a body cream that I could layer. |

| True to its name, this is a green violet scent. I like violets very much so I was looking forward to this one. Well this certainly is green, but I feel like this scent needs something more to it. On me its green leaves and watery violet (that yeah, does sort of smell like cucumber as the other reviewer noted) and a good helping of cedar. For me this was sort of boring and I don't think the violet note in this composition had a chance to shine as I would have expected from the name. |

| As my dressing table gets more crowded with full-bottles, I'm going to have to make room for this one. I find this is the ONLY violet scent that smells right on me. I think it's the iris and cedar notes that keep it from getting cloying. It's not a scent that grabs you from across the room, but once someone is in your personal space, people definitely notice it. |

| What a dainty, delicate, dare I say it pretty scent! And what a darn shame it is that it doesn't last. If this had even a modicum of lasting power I'd buy it in a New York minute. But like so many of the L'Artisan scents, it doesn't. Four stars for the scent, two stars for the lack of lasting power, for an average of 3. |

| I have been searching high and low for the perfect violet fragrance, because for some reason I feel violet notes are just *me.* Finally, finally, with Verte Violette, I have found my holy grail of violette frags. It's not heavy on sweetness or powder, and is just green enough for me. Though the scent seems to be fleeting, I woke up this morning and could still smell the faint powdery scent after applying it yesterday afternoon. Perfection! |

| Verte Violette is my favourite violet soliflore, soft and fresh and lovely. It's not too sweet, powdery , or sharp like most other violets out there. Highly recommended for violet lovers! |

| I put it on three hours ago and the scent is almost gone.
The scent overall is nice, soft and sweet, but would need to be reapplied too often. The quality of the fragrance is noticeable, but it doesn't last nearly as long as I'd like. I wouldn't invest so much money in a fragrance that would last no more than a couple hours. |

| I bought a sample first and loved it. Just got a full size bottle and this is so very soft, sweet and femine. I like clean fresh scents and this works for me. Perfect for the warm weather |
