Here's what other people are saying about Musc Maori...
Ordered a sample of this because I heard multiple people say this smelled like chocolate orange…I am more than disappointed. I can kind of smell it at the initial spray, but immediately after it dries down, it smells like a weird, sour floral. Maybe it’s just my body chemistry, but this is just absolutely not for me. It also only lasted a few hours which was great for me, but if you like this perfume, I’m sure it would be frustrating.

The most beautiful realistic hot steaming chocolate milk. I'm talking waffs of steaming hot chocolate coming of your skin! The richest, milkiest, semi-sweet chocolate simmering in milk over a fire. I don't get much musk especially not overpowering. It's more so a richness to the chocolate and lactonic feeling. I sampled Blanche Bete thinking it would be a milky chocolate scent. Yet, it's more so plain milk steaming with toasted coconut nuances similar to BBW at the Beach. If you want a heavy hot chocolate vibe go for this one.

To me, this smells like tootsie rolls and iris. It’s a keeper!

Addictive, mood-elevating dark cocoa and orange sorbet upon initial spray. I don't detect any true sweetness, nor overt musk from this gem, just an unusual, yet compelling blend that causes me to inhale deeply each and every time it's uncapped and sprayed with abandon- LOOOVE this one!!! Definitely better when sprayed, dabbed sample simply could not do this one justice! Bought during the dead of winter, still great in our quickly- warming Spring, I think this scent will be appropriate for all seasons. Moderate sillage, good longevity, and, although this wouldn't be first choice for a romantic evening out, it just seems to fit in almost any other time and for almost any other occasion. Will need to order a back-up bottle of this one!! 5 stars all the way!

sweet cocoa supported and complemented by the other notes. it starts off with an almost alcoholic fruity sweetness then calms down muskily.

Disappointed because it's so beautiful and yummy, but I could not smell it anymore literally less than one minute later. Silage and lasting power are zero.

I love this!!! It was my Christmas gift to myself this year. I have tried so many samples from Lucky Scent and this was divine. Its like being veiled in chocolate lime!! Very gourmand.....you have been warned!! This will work on me in all seasons due to the lime note that develops on me. If your a gourmand fan you simply must try this one!!!

This sounded so good. I was hoping to find a good fall/winter scent. It initially smelled like a high quality cocoa powder(which was very nice and immediately made me want a brownie) and then came the note of melted plastic. And that's all it ever turned into; cocoa powder and plastic.

Long lasting rich hot cocoa, followed by creme brulee for hours on my skin. Lovely to try if you enjoy foodie, gourmand scents. The chocolate for the first few hours keeps swirling around. I found it to be comforting but heavy. Probably divine in a dry, cold season as the fragrance itself has a moist vibe to it. Not my fave, but well-crafted.

It sounds so lovely! Unfortunately it does not work with my chemistry at all, gives me nausea. Bubblegum and plastic is what I get, not as much as a hint of the coffee and chocolate others are getting. Would love to smell how it is supposed to smell like...

hmmm, this is so interesting to me. After reading all of the reviews I expected this perfume to be chocolate and cream but I still fail to smell even the slightest bit of chocolate. It opens on me with a strong and wonderful burst of expensive orange sorbet which last quite some time. I think this smells delicious btw. But no chocolate to be found. Then after a while the fresh creamsicle/ orange sorbet smell gets toned down a bit and a nice soft musc come through. This is how it stays straight through til dry down. Still not even a drop of chocolate on me though which I find so weird. I'm really liking this beautifully crafted perfume though. Could be full bottle worthy. Also try Tonkamande from the same line. Both are gorgeous.

Hmm, this starts out chocolate on me and stays chocolate all day. Did reapply around noon as it was fading. It's nice, I don't mind smelling like chocolate, and it's not chemical or nasty smelling, just very literal. I have dry skin though, maybe it would do something more interesting on someone warmer or oilier. I don't think it's something I'd buy a bottle of, but it's pleasant and a very successful chocolate scent.

Smells like melted butter to me, definitely not something I would wear.

Oh, I forgot to mention. This needs a lot of reapplying on me. It fades in two hours or so. So I give it 1 star for that but the overall composition makes it a 4.

Lots of chocolate in the opening. Dissapears after 15 minutes and your left with a soft cocoa floral. Dries down to a soft skin scent with a hint of clean musk. The musk note is not dominant. This is a gourmand, but I dont find it sweet at all. I guess this react very different from person to person. I'd label this as a soft skin gourmand. First PG I like by the way, it doesnt have the same ambery musty dry down as I get from all the others I've tried. Lombre fauve is brilliant but I wouldnt want to wear it myself, it's a bit too carnal for me. I might just end up with a bottle of this.

This was a full-bottle purchase after I'd sampled it. It is very sweet, but transparent and light, and the musky/cocoa drydown lasts and lasts. For me it's sort of in the same category as a comfortable, casual, foody vanilla scent like L'Artisan Vanilia or Nicolai Vanille Tonka, but the chocolate and the musk make it more interesting.

Back to say that this has fast become a fave of mine and my husbands! It is very sweet but very sexy, it never fails to get me compliments. I love the play on the black and white theme, when I spray it I imagine sweetened condensed milk being stirred into the most creamy milk chocolate on earth! YUM! Now, I just wish PG would come out with body products to match. Although I might never leave my bathroom;-)

although this seems to be a well-crafted gourmand, it is definitely not for me. there was too much chocolate, not enough musk. so much, in fact, that i got a migraine from it's strong presence. probably if i was more of a gourmand person i would have liked it more.
