Ipanema is def my favorite from the few samples I ordered. It does take a second to settle into your chemistry before it becomes lovely. I immed smell amber even though its not listed. Must be something mixing with the vanilla. It gets lighter and more airy smelling as it wears. Would have liked more patchouli & sandlewood, less vanilla. I am really contemplating buying a bottle. Really contemplating bathing with my patchouli soap and THEN applying the scent.

To be honest, I ordered the sample because I really liked the name and the way the bright turquoise blue color looked in the bottle. Too bad I can’t say the same for the scent. Where’s the “soft coconut”? Where’s the vanilla? There’s nothing here that reminds me of the beach, the sea, the shore, or the ocean. Instead, I smell “Sparkling Wave” Pine-Sol......bright blue turquoise blue and all.

Don't smell this out of the bottle, or even on yourself for a few minutes. You may prejudge this lovely scent unfavorably. It comes out smelling a bit like bathroom disinfectant or room spray. Give it a moment and you'll smell a great travel memory. I've gotten several compliments on this from people who really, really wanted to know what it was...

Oh, this is a beautiful scent! It smells remarkably true-to-life, and it's such a pick-me-up scent. Great to spritz after work to inspire energy for the evening. Ipanema is fresh, but unique, and it's one of the finest marine fragrances I've ever smelled. I adore it.

Disappointing. I wanted to love this one. The description, the great reviews, the beutiful color.....but all I got was about 5 minutes of a fruity pebbles smell. Then it vanished completely. Not a bad scent, but not a good one. Just vapid and.....blank.

This is a wonderful perfume. I would wear it year around, even though it is a spring/summer scent. I love, love, LOVE it. Put on some of this perfume, play some reggae music, make yourself a pina colada, close your eyes and you're in the tropics!

After reading Lucky Scent's description and the glowing reviews posted here, I was excited to try this fragrance with hopes that this would be my new spring/summer scent. Sadly, after receiving my samples, I must admit that I am completely "under” whelmed". Yes, it is perfectly well blended-not a single note stands out-except maybe the patchouli which I don’t like. On me, the scent never changes through out the day, but remains the same as when I first applied it. It doesn't smell like the beach or remind me of any tropical getaway that I've been to. It's simply an unremarkable fragrance.

This is a delicate, well-balanced scent (something that the people at Padpardascha seem expert at creating) that's not aquatic, or salty, but rather subtle and beachy. I love the color of the liquid and I love the soothing, milky scent - I think this is my favorite of the 4 new scents from this line.

This is very nice! It is so well blended that not a single note stands out. The coconut is natural and softly sweetened. I would consider this a tropical skin scent that could easily be worn anywhere...no beach required. I did buy a FB and know it will get a lot of use this spring/summer!
