A bracing and peppery opening of juniper, angelica and cypress clears the way for the noble and soulful iris which is very much the heart of this elegant, masculine scent. I must add that it does say alot about self promotion when the actual designer of this perfume , Jann Vesier, has included his own review on here. A little subjective I dare say. Funny though and begs the question: what was he thinking in this state of panic ?....

These days this seems to be the only perfume I want to wear... There's something brittle and dry about it, like fallen leaves. And the iris in it manages to pull off that near impossible feat: being melancholy without being depressing. Like September...

Have to agree with Mark. What this is is particularly average. It smells like your typical run-of-the-mill mall fragrance (i.e., the Banana Republic comment) rather than a niche one. It's nice, it's safe, no surprises. What you read in the notes is what you smell.

Its smells nice especially for the summer but, for the price, I think this is rather average. Its indistinguishable of something to be found in Banana Republic. Don't let the fancy bottle fool you.

Almost preternaturally cool. I swear wearing this can cool you off on a hot day. One of the best summer fragrances there is. I Love the interplay of lightly sweet and spicy or sharp elements, and this has this in a subtle, terrific duet. A most try if not, indeed, a must have.

What is most mysterious about the two mens' fragrances by Divine is how they become part of you when you wera them. They don't stand apart from you and call attention to themsselves, they become part of you, as if they were the divine revelation of one's own smell. Beautiful, but subtle; distinctive but almost enigmatic. I would venture to say that they would compliment a person not for WHAT he wears but who he is. This would be very easy for some people to miss.
