This fragrance has the sort of density that needs a few months to settle after opening. Don't rely on your initial sampling. Parfumo states that this contains frankincense. I believe it due to a mysterious 'brightness' in this composition. . However, It is predominantly patchouli (never insult a patch by calling it "dirty") followed by a significant dose of vanilla absolut.Nearly gave up on this one when first received. Definitely glad I gave it the chance it deserved.

It is way too sweet and is long lasting. I used one dab with the sample, and can’t wash it off. This is pretty flat, it doesn’t develop. It basically smells like cupcake batter the entire time.

From a scent named "Gothic" I would have expected something harsh maybe, or at least very dark, challenging, super dramatic... This is none of those things. It is "cozy", "inviting," easy-going even! I expect this would be a crowd-pleaser but it's very close to the skin. After about 90 minutes the thing turns a bit on the sour side. And as it happens I have a lot of scents I like that cover the ground of vanilla, sandalwood and/or spices. So I won't buy this...

I love Nag Champa and Patchouli. If that makes me a hippie, so be it. This is so much like the blue print box from India, Satiya Sai Baba Nag Champa incense. I always loved that stuff but can't burn incense anymore due to health reasons. This is powdery and delicious and so easy to apply. A bit goes a long way.

Spot on nag champa incense opening, jasmine/magnolia, sandalwood, and resin, super velvety and smooth - I can almost feel the incense smoke drifts around me. I get hints of something spicy, clove and cardamon and a rich vanilla. Extreme longevity which improved with longer wear.

Patchouli/Nag Champa bomb!!!!! . This fragrance reminds me of the 125th of ole.....before all the crackdowns on street vendors.....The smell of incense wafted through the air......oh, those were my good old days. It takes me back to the time when life was simpler! I will repurchase. Peace

Nag Champion! I have been looking for a similar scent after the discontinuation of my beloved L de Lolita (Lolita Lempicka) which smelled like nag champa incense and was both sultry and delicious. Loved Gothic II right away!

This stuff is horrible. It reminds me of one of those stinky incense shops in London. This is a good fragrance for a homeless guy to wear to cover up the stink of his dreadlocks. All I used was a pinhead dab but I can't get this stench off me! Save me!
