On me, this fragrance smells like a mix of "grandma perfume" and baby powder. In other words, not a hit. It's also not changed at all during the day, just a constant whiff of old lady and powder. I'm willing to bet that it reacts very differently with everyone's chemistry though, so I recomment anyone interested in this scent to try a sample.

Elegant and strong cassis...When I tried the sample, this made me feel so royal :) But a queen rather than a princess :) I think I still prefer to feel like a princess... despite my age :)

This first struck me as more than a touch on the dreaded "Old Lady" side. But after a couple of hours it was as if the Old Lady downed a few glasses of champagne and popped a couple of buttons open on that Chanel jacket. It blossomed into Lusty Old Lady. Which is a different bird altogether. I like it...

This fragrance is such a lovely journey...it changes subtlely every hour or so and each time it reveals another facet of feminine green comfort. It does not resemble Chanel No. 19 on me as the two previous posts. It starts off with a blast of real, garden geranium. That is to say the fresh, brisk, tonic lift-me-up burst of that plant. Then it quickly settles into its happy series of floral, slightly woody changes. The boozy note comes out at the end, and it is soft and genteel. I must also add that in aromatherpy terms, I find it very focusing and calming.

My favorite in the Miller Harris line. I agree that it evokes Chanel 19, but the lemon makes for an appealing difference; it's more like lemon custard than fresh lemon. Very edible. I would love to see this in a smaller--more affordable--size.
