Here's what other people are saying about Geisha Noire Eau de Parfum...
Have you ever smelled something so familiar but from a distant memory that brought tears to your eyes? For me is was Geisha Noire. I have sampled so many perfumes here on Luckyscent for the past say 5 or so years, but not once has a perfume compelled me to have tears in my eyes. This scent is so warm and familiar. It brought me back to my childhood when me and my brothers and sister would go with my mom to bodegas. My mom and dad were hippies living in Australia in the 70's so my mom was really into incense and candles and such. The bodegas had this familiar scent that I have craved my whole life and I have finally found it. I just cant stop smelling my wrist. I wish I had a full bottle right now, but I want to wait smell the perfume oil .

Initially reminded me of Habinita, which I love, but initially definitely liked this less. BUT with patience this develops into something truly warm and lovely. Deep and rich without being too sweet or overpowering. My guy couldn't stop sniffing my neck. So I guess he likes it too.

This is one of those fragrances that makes my eyes roll back in my head in ecstasy. It's luscious, velvety with a kind of dark sparkle to it, practically edible. It gets even more beautiful as it dries down, with a touch of powder that gives it a gentle airiness. Geisha Noire is the perfect companion for sweater weather and winter date nights, the perfect nexus of cuddly and sexy. Wearing it is like sinking into a pile of velvet cushions while your lover feeds you dark chocolate truffles. A wow.

Yes it does have simlarities to Shalimar - that juxtaposition of sweet, smoky and spicy, I find this far less powdery though, I think Shalimar has more of that baby powder contrasting with sharp citrus and leather quality, whereas Geisha Noire has something a little more woody or resinous, it does have the similar creme brulee/civet in drydown. In oil form this has more longevity than Shalimar EDP too, which is saying something - you only need a few drops! Gorgeous, sensual, velvety, yet with little rough tufts to keep your interest. Wonderful.

I was put off by Geisha Noire out of the vial...it smelled like baby powder and a bit of nail varnish BUT I am sooooo glad I stuck with this one. I put a bit on my wrists and WHAM! It went from "Ewwww..." to "Holy Mother of Sex!" in .5 seconds!! The amber isn't too predominant on me, but the sandalwood and tonka bean just dazzle!! My hubby couldn't stop sniffing around me. Finally, he asked if I was wearing anything and when I said I was his reply was, "I hope you have lots of it!" I've had two other men ask me what I'm wearing, so this is definitely an attention grabber. If that's not your style you might wanna give this one a miss. However, if you enjoy being the centre of attention and like smelling of things other than teenage girls, flowers, and fruit THIS IS YOUR FRAGRANCE! Staying power is pretty great, too. Sillage isn't OTT, so you'll have strangers coming in for a closer smell. You have been warned!

nothing like Habanita...very sexy, amber and sandalwood work well in warmer weather, too...

Am I crazy???? Or is this Habanita by Molinard redux??

oh my, this is dirty! my skin tends to bring that out though. i absolutely hated my first application of the sample--i felt like a barnyard! my boyfriend, who likes sweeter, cleaner things, might hate it. something about this is growing on me, though...I just found myself reapplying.

I was hoping to find this a mysterious and deep fragrance. What I found was sandalwood, sandalwood and no depth. Stayed the same on me from opening through several hours, no change, no warmth, just very plain.

I've always liked the oil, but it was a tad too thick and intense for me. This is the perfect variation. It's lighter but still deep, powdery, mysterious and warm--comforting and still sexy. May be a bottle purchase in the near future.

Smells just like SHALIMAR..

I like this much better than the oil. The oil wallops me over the head with amber, while the EDP spray floats gently around me. Decent lasting power, too.

Well...Geisha Noire was my favorite perfume oil, and I was SUPER excited to get it in the mail on Tuesday. It is very different. In my opinion, the oil is the way to go...the EDP is (I hate to say this) an average amber scent.

Love, love, love it. Dark and powdery and a little naughty. Perfect for the cooler weather.
