Mona di Orio
With my perfumes you create stories and memories. I reveal and unlock the essence of emotions that populate my dreams and imaginations. A good perfume will surprise before touching the heart deeply, slowly it will give you its soul as it evolves and reveals its final notes. Perfume is like poetry. It must stimulate and create passion instantly. —Mona di Orio
Signature Collection:
Mona di Orio is a classically trained perfumer, having had the great honor, as a young girl, of working alongside the famous Edmond Roudnitska. Of French/Italian descent, Mona uses all the good things in life as inspiration for her first collection of six fragrances which in their richness, complexity and originality recall the glories of the golden age of perfumery in the 1920's and 30's.
Les Nombres d’Or Collection:
Mona di Orio is guided as a perfumer by two core tenets: that “A perfume is a work of art” and that her perfumes must be the result of a “Marriage of the perfect raw materials”. Born in France and protégée of legendary perfumer Edmond Roudnitska (creator of such legendary scents as Eau Sauvage and Diorella) she has released three new scents in a collection called Les Nombres d'Or (The Golden Ratio), where she invites us “to follow their mysterious and sensual sillages”.
Fascinated by the realm of the senses in all of its glorious richness, the packaging of Mona's perfumes delights the eye. As a wine connoisseur, she has sealed her bottles with a gilded champagne muselet on the handcrafted caps from the champagne House of Jacquesson. |
