Fille en Aiguille by Serge Lutens, Musc Ravageur from Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle and a bottle of vintage Hypnotic Poison from Dior that I recently got on eBay. It's been cold in the UK the last few months so these fragrances suit the weather.
Last fragrance acquisition
Absolu pour le soir from Maison Francis Kurkdjian. I recently wore it in Morocco and it seemed to really work there.
Next on your wishlist
Bell'Antonio from Hilde Soliani (it'll be my second bottle); and the 1908s formulation of Chanel No 5. I'm still on the elusive search for the perfect incense fragrnace or some old-school chypre of the Mitsouko vein. I'm also intrigued by Kinski. It reminds me a little of the original Aramis - it's the bitter green.
Top three favorites of all time
Feminite du Bois by Serge Lutens , Bell'Antonio from Hilde Soliani and the original version of Hypnotic Poison from Dior.
First fragrance
Fidji was the first perfume I bought with my own money. I was on a plane journey back from a school skiing trip and I used up the rest of my foreign currency. Chanel No 5 was the first fragrance I got as a gift - I really wanted it!
Favorite smells (not perfume)
I love the smell of that certain time of year when you know that spring has arrived. The air smells warmer. I love the smell of kitten fur - this is why I love Hypnotic Poison, it reminds me of that smell. And frankincense burnt on charcoal.
