Honeysuckle / Caprifoglio Cologne

I got a sample from Luckyscent this week and WOW. This smells like my childhood in a bottle. A very realistic honeysuckle bush scent. Opens with a nostalgic older-recipe sunscreen smell (no coconut or tropical notes) that becomes softer during the dry down, but persists as it’s worn, and the honeysuckle really comes forward. Sits close to the skin, but has wonderful longevity on me. This smells like riding a bike through Virginia’s trails and neighborhoods in the summer. There’s no extra sweetness on me, just those two notes. I would say this is a wonderful spring and summer scent. If you love honeysuckle, this is a must-sample, but it may not be enjoyable for people who prefer more complex scents (or people who hate sunscreen).
