Here's what other people are saying about Soavissima...
I am not a "powder" person, it takes a very sweet, girly girl to pull off that sort of scent and I prefer vanilla for my rare super girly moments. BUT, I'm a little obsessed with the Profumum house so I'm trying pretty much everything of theirs. This is pretty much the ultimate powder scent, made something more adult and less literal baby powder by the addition of the amber. Like all Profumum scents (in my opinion) it just gets better with time and lasts for ages. If powder is your things definitely give this one a try.

If there were a perfume for a princess, Soavissima would be that perfume. It's beyond elegant!

I got a sample of this for my wife, but I'll post my thoughts on it. It's very powdery and a touch sweet. Interesting but not complex. Soavissima means "sweetest" in Italian (just to clarify for the last reviewer), it doesn't mean soap. Soap is "sapone". Anyway, it's not a clean powdery scent but a heavy one almost in the style of Chanel. Probably not for everyone but some ladies can pull it off and make it seem sexy while on others it'll just seem out of place and odd.

I keep thinking that 'soave' is italian for 'soap'. This scent is like strong but cheap incense, or old-fashioned perfume soap. I would expect to smell like this, were I an old nun... but I am not... Maybe I was mistaken about liking 'powder' notes... I dunno... But I will not put this scent on, again. Free Soavissima sample, anyone?

Powdery notes, white flowers and amber. This what the fragrance promises and exactly what it delivers. It is a lovely feminine fragrance, definitely not for every day but perfect for the times when you want to be given to purely feminine! I want to give it 5 stars be there is, underlying, a hint of sweetness that is reminiscenent of cotton condy. Even though this is one fantastic feminine fragrance (and hey, isn't sweetness feminie as well?) I think I would like it better if they stepped down the sweetness a notch or two. That would enough for it to be Holy Grail material for me.

I am halfway down my first bottle of this and I have to say I absolutely love it. It is definately powder, but rich wonderful girly and totally feminine. My very very bad godmother's cheeks smelled like this, when she demanded a kiss after giving me something forbiden, such as a lipstick or some other grown-up contraband, she would wink at me and say "don't tell your mother" This perfume brought those memories straight back. Priceless!!

This is a lovely powder scent. It dries down to a dry powder, not overly sweet. I do not smell any floral notes at all. I've been wearing it for a couple of hours now and it has faded to just a whisper of what it was at the beginning. Very gentle and not too overpowering. It is mostly the amber and a huge amount of powder, and i can see how this would just smell like baby powder to some.

This reminded me of cheap, unpleasant gas station bathroom soap. But it does last all day and then some.

The Powder Queen. Woah! And in my case, only to be admired from afar. This is like eating a powder cake, powder-flavored frosting and all. Profumums are worth every penny, and if you love powdery scents, you need this. If powder turns you off, avoid this like the plague. This is the Muscs Koublai Khan of powder fumes.

This is a very potent powdery scent - lasts for days on your clothes. It's addictive.

I really like this one, but I don't think I am going to buy it, as it doesn't stand out as something special. I have to comment, however, that the Profumum scents I have encountered (including this one) all smell "quality" vs cheap or contrived. Relative to other "cheaper" perfumes that are overpriced I think these (well, the ones I have smelled) are well worth the price... for what it's worth.

Love it! Soft, smooth, feminine, and addictive. Truely a beautifully made fragrance. If you love powder scents, this is a must try. Quality and worth every penny.
