Yatagan by Caron without the celery note. BRILLIANT. I was looking for something like this HOWEVER sillage and longevity are awful. Please make this in a EDP version and I will purchase it.

NICE. My kind of fragrance. European Artistocrat sitting down for lunch in the italian countryside. He is wearing a tweed houndstooth blazer and corduroy pants. I love this types of opulent old school euro frags. PROBLEM THOUGH. Weak projection and short longevity. Might I remind you that I drive a ferrari NOT A HONDA. Make and EDP and I will buy it immediately. Otherwise...not with my money....

An excellent scent! I'll bet there is galbanum and clary sage in those green notes, and the spices may be cloves, nutmeg, coriander. All are blended together and are subtle. It has a lovely, aromatic, dry-resin finish. Very romantic!

Ok, it's really not all Christmas trees! I really did think that for a long time, but I have also been very intrigued with this fragrance, and after a lot of exploring, I realized that it is more than Christmas trees. It is a great sunny green fragrance, that has tremendous character. I would venture to say, however, that Christmas trees would be one of the first things one might think of, but the beautiful smell of the forest is more than that. This is pretty magical stuff once you acquire the more sophisticated nose for it.

"Christmas tree" doesn't do justice to this balanced fragrance--no single notes dominates. It reminds me of Caron's Yatagan but without the (to me) distracting celery note. Pleasant resins and herbs, perfect for a quiet morning at home.

Pure evergreen, and not at all shy about it. It is unapologetic. It is deep, concentrated, and resinous. I am definitely reminded of picking out a Christmas tree, surrounded by the scent of the sap, the bark, and the damp roots. I do not shy away from wearing men's scents on occasion, but this one is definitely for the boys only. On the right guy, this could work.

VERY sharp (as in pugent). Better try it out first...not for everyone: you'll either hate it or you might like it but it's doubtful you'll say "so-so."

Christmas trees! Total pine for me. Not that this is a bad thing, just that I didn't expect this to be so, so much pine from the description. The sum total is a freshly cut Christmas tree. A special kind of clean fresh scent. Merry Christmas!

Strong and pungent at first, so be careful when applying, but the drydown is beautiful and subtle.

This is absolutely one of the finest woodsy/herbal fragrances in existence. It reminds me of our trip to Italy, the beautiful countryside, the verdant green landscape. Oh, how I love this scent! Bella Italia in a bottle!!
