This is the best frankincense I've had the pleasure of smelling. Last year, I experienced my first Easter in a Greek orthodox church and the priest lit incense and the smoke spread throughout the entire church. Smoky, balsamic, slightly sweet and airy and this fragrance is by far the best rendition of that scent. It also hints at something fir or cypress like despite not being listed in the notes. This is rich, smoky, yet airy olibanum, on a bed of fir like woods. Lovely stuff.

I caved in and bought the big bottle after sampling it over two years ago. The divine memory of that initial sample vial stayed with me. Was hoping there would be a 50ml option eventually, but alas, its all good, This parfum extrait is an over-the-top, extravagant production of the Roman Catholic mass, in Latin, on Mars. It is truly celestial. Olibanum (frankincense) is the main player here,

Medieval lesbian convent. Incense bomb! Never sickly sweet or too funky. Just good yellow spice. Not for everyone, you need to like pretty loud fragrances for this one.

This one is so forgettable, I forgot I wrote a review for it. Too bad it didn't get posted, as it should have. Look elsewhere for there are more convincing incenses floating around the market. *0 Stars*
