The Scoop

ANVERS 2, the next fragrance in the ANVERS series, combines masculine notes with florals, a concept of opposition that successfully works for its predecessor, Anvers. ANVERS 2 blends Blond Woods and Musk with delicate notes of Mimosa Rhubarb and Jasmin, creating its subtle, unique scent. Sensual and warm, Anvers 2 captures the humble, self-assured man perfectly.

Anvers 2  Notes

Bergamot, Lime, Lemon, Black Pepper, Wild Basil, Rhubarb and Cypress, Bulgarian Rose, Jasmine, Lily, Mimosa, Blond Woods (Cedarwood and Sandalwood) and Vetiver. Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Musk, Amber, Olibanum and Oakmoss.

Here's what other people are saying about Anvers 2...
There are a lot of things going on in this scent, but somehow it all works. It starts off with a blast of citrus but quickly settles into a nice mix of florals and woods. It's a delicate balance with none of the notes overpowering the others (you wouldn't call it a woody scent or a floral scent!).

Nice contrast to the Anvers. A little somber smelling. Didn't come across as an uplifting daytime scent. More 'indigo' mood. Something that might be better suited to a little more of a formal evening scent. Good, but I'm not overly blown away by it.

quite good alternative for summer scent - but doesn't last long; little lack of character and individuality; too clean and boring after few hours; generally there are much more better fragrances on the niche market

I liked this very much. Light and modern, yet it has some warm, woody notes that keep it intriguing. It's a touch sweet but the subtlety of the overall accord makes that acceptable. My preference is for more full bodied fragrances, but for a lighter modern fragrance, this is excellent, Overall-- a classy, young, modern fragrance that is subtle, distinctive and charming. Fairly unisex I would say.

cold and modern but the drydown was a letdown.... too industrial.

Anvers 2 is quite the anti-thesis of Anvers one. While it starts out clean it does have a heart that opens up and is unusually entrancing. I tend to find most masculine scents harsh and heavy on spice--which can be overwhelming. This one is subtly sexy and the dry down-- oh la-la.. C'est Magnifique Also if you are a man and have this scent, watch out, the woman in your life might snag it.
