Here's what other people are saying about Framboise Noire...
I'm going to respectfully disagree with some of the reviewers before me. I love Framboise Noire. It is rich, multi-layered and wears like a good tie. You aren't hit by it until you get close and then you love the color. It is almost a gourmand scent, given that it is raspberry based, however, it has other warm seductive undertones that make people ask, "What are you wearing?" Framboise Noire gets a noses on the neck reaction from those around you and that's a great reaction to get.

I have to say, I think the critics are to harsh on this scent titled Framboise Noire. It's an apt title for a higher end niche Eau de Parfum. It's not available at Target or Walgreens for goodness sake and you'll certainly find nothing like it at "Bodyworks." What it is is a generously liberal gourmand "unisex" fragrance, with character, that is devilishly noted to bring compliments from everyone in the office.

Unfortunate name for a scent that's actually a fairly interesting wine-leather-and-smoke affair once you get past the opening note (which screeched a little before the iris could get a hand over its mouth). I rather liked this after the first five minutes, especially as a masculine; pity it has to meet its fate in the market under a name that sounds like something on a bottle at Bodyworks.

Not bad Fragrance, cheapy opening but lovely dry-down towards dark woods. Kind of overrated by Luckyscent and surely overpriced. There're very good designer fragrances out there that fall in the same/similar category, but cost less and perform a lot better (eg. Spicebomb, Invictus on the masculine end, Guilty Black on femenine). The only small difference is, that this fragrance has a slight touch of some ingredient(s) that make it slightly towards niche.

This smells like a really good raspberries & cream dessert (sweet, tart, creamy and fresh all at the same time) mixed into a black leathery oud and spicy woodsmoke. I like that the fruit doesn't smell cheap or reminiscent of hard candy to me. It's one of the nicest, most realistic raspberry notes I've ever smelled. The drydown shifts more and more into smoky, dark wood with only a hint of the fruits, but I still like this one a lot.

I used to wear Hot Couture by Givenchy when I was younger and have been searching for years to find a more grown up fragrance with a raspberry note. I really wanted to like this one but all I can smell are black woods. It reminds me of Nuit Etoilee by Annick Goutal.
